Speedway is Fueling Miracles for Kids in South Florida

It’s time to fuel miracles and save lives for kids treated at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital!

Thanks to the generosity of Speedway customers this weekend, donations collected April 29 to May 1st will make a difference in our community by raising funds to improve medical treatments, equipment, and facilities. These funds allow Nicklaus Children’s Hospital to address the most challenging health issues of today but also to prevent and prepare for those to come.

Through these donations, our hospital is able to provide treatments and healing that patents like Bradley desperately need today so that they can fulfill their potential for tomorrow.

Bradley was born at 38 weeks via emergency c-section as a results of loss of fetal movement. Due to the complexity of his case and the uncertainty of his diagnosis, he was transferred to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital for additional testing and spent 54 days in the NICU. Bradley continues to see a multidisciplinary team of specialists at Nicklaus Children’s for treatment and care, and has since been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Today, he is a joyful and happy boy with a contagious smile.

Speedway’s partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals began in 1991 and has since raised more than $133 million for the children’s charity through various fundraising activities. Speedway locations in South Florida have raised over $280,000 for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. The majority of funds come from year-long canister collection and pin pad prompts at the point of sale, company-wide campaign weekends for their local hospital, in addition to other localized campaigns.

Thanks to Speedway customers in South Florida for helping change Kids’ Health and change the Future for kids treated at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital!
