Phi Mu Kappa Rho Hosts Spring Philanthropy Event
The Kappa Rho chapter of Phi Mu at Florida Atlantic University rallied together to organize a creative and successful spring philanthropy event! Over the course of 3 days, they brought the FAU campus together to raise over $10,000. The main event was entitled “Color Wars” and included clubs and Greek organizations from across their campus. They also facilitated daily activities to raise funds and awareness for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. They made cards for staff, educated students on Miracle Children through a guessing game challenge, and even sold popcorn and t-shirts. They closed their spring efforts with a virtual trivia night with one of our very own patient families: Bradley and his Mom Vilma. They were able to share their patient video, provide updates on their medical journey, and even share Bradley’s warm personality with the Phi Mu sisters. Thank you to their philanthropy chairwoman, Jordan Milo, and their incredible chapter, for all that they have done for Children’s Miracle Network and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital!
