Celebrating Root Beer Float Day!

August 6 was National Root Beer Float Day and we are celebrating all month-long as this day holds a special place for Marriott International, Children’s Miracle Network Hospital’s longest standing partner.

J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott launched their 9-seat A&W Root Beer stand in Washington, D.C. to cool off from the summer heat. To honor this history and legacy, Marriott properties once again hosted Root Beer float socials throughout the month of August to benefit CMN Hospitals.
